A late 19th century Lavar with a deep navy field and gorgeous botanical motif with leaves and flowers and birds. It’s a directional rug with a tree anchored at one end. This is a finely woven rug with a low wool piled and floppy hand feel.
Why we love it: the soft pinks, raspberry and ivory are radiant on the deep navy. The design is so well done on this carpet, it’s a true show stopper.
