A fantastic Serapi from the last quarter of the 19th Century. A special, open design with a light madder root red field and accents of navy and light blue, ivory and peach. Areas of repair and preservation. Sides and ends are secure. A low wool pile and floppy hand.
Why we love it: we delight in the unusual and I’ve never seen a Serapi like this one! The design is so unusual. The color palette and feel neutral and will warm up any space. A gorgeous, old piece!
